Join us at the Canadian Museum for Human Rights on Thursday, September 28, 2023 to experience a unique evening of storytelling, art and entertainment. Reception begins at 6 p.m., dinner will be served at 7 p.m., and throughout the evening there will be a live and silent auction.

This year’s gala was made extra special as it gave us the opportunity to come together and celebrate the completion of the Freedom Village, which will provide a safe home for girls in Haiti’s Restavek system to heal and flourish.
During the event, we were able to offer a sneak peek of our journey with the Freedom Village – now, here’s yours! A big thank you to Film Collective for capturing all the hard work, dedication and love put into this project.

We are overwhelmed by the generosity of the Winnipeg community. As I looked around the room during the Gala evening, I couldn’t help but reflect on the true partnership and camaraderie that we all have together. In our team of staff, volunteers, and partners, the focus is always on the values we share and the combined commitment we all have to serve and care for others.
