Melanie Barahona
Manager of Operations, Dominican Republic
Melanie has over 18 years of experience working and volunteering with international development organizations. After completing university, she spent 7 years in the corporate banking industry but did a complete career change in 2015 to follow her passion. She has been living in the Dominican Republic for a while, leading groups who travel to the island to make a difference. She is our Manager of Operations for the island of Hispaniola. She is fluent in Spanish at both conversation and business levels while mastering the Dominican lingo as well. Her other passions include Latin dancing, swimming, and ping-pong.
